Principals’ Message   2009- 2010

Being the principal and educational leader of Golden Glades Elementary School, it is my responsibility
to provide an educationally enriched environment to all students.  The faculty and staff of Golden Glades Elementary School strives to provide students with a clean and safe learning environment that fosters academic, social, and personal achievement.  The latest and most innovative educational strategies are infused in the academic process with the aim of removing any barriers that may hinder the achievement of students.

Students are given the opportunity to maximize their potential, and their needs are addressed individually.  Tutorial services are provided to students as supplemental resources before, after, and during school.  Additionally, students are provided with an academically enriched Saturday School program that promotes their growth and achievement.

 

    

 We realize that if students are to achieve, the learning environment must be supplemented and supported in the home.  We provide family literacy services such as GED classes, computer literacy courses, and career enhancement classes to parents and community members in the evenings, free of charge.  Golden Glades Elementary School strives to increase student achievement by addressing all stakeholders.  Collectively, an effort is made by all those associated with the learning process (teachers, parents and students) to increase the academic standards of the entire Golden Glades Community as a whole.
